Western Cape - Kempton Park, Gauteng - Under the coordination of the Service Manager and in collaboration with Our clients' Business units contribute to the Service Division by being primarily responsible for System and PCI service, system repairs, engineering solution projects (Upgrades, EXA packages, Foundation Field bus); execution system maintenance contracts scope, execution of service notes, emergency call-out, IT assistance and stand by at site.? Supporting of Service and Sales Activities in the overall promotion of the company and its products/services.? To maintain 24/7 cover for the System Support Contracts with the Service Manager.
? Execution of Service Projects and Annual Maintenance Contracts.? To offer technical support on Systems, PCI and IT solutions to customers both external and internal.? To assist with System and PCI fault finding, tests and minor repairs.
? To be available for service projects like upgrades, migrations and implementation of EXA packages.? To schedule and execute System and PCI service notes, information and memos.? To be familiarized with all available Service Sales items and Service tools.
? To do sales proposals for service spare parts and small orders.? To assist with System training when requested, and to ensure full conversancy with the latest versions of the Distributed Control Systems.? Monthly reporting assistance to the Service Manager.
? Ensure compliance in service administration procedures and instructions, as specified in the quality management system (QMS).? Contribute to the well-being of the company by maintaining positive working relations with colleagues and members of support structures.? Protect the organisation’s values by keeping information confidential.
? Abide by the company’s health and safety policy by ensuring the following: - Must execute work in such a way so as to not endanger himself/herself or others.- Must inform himself/herself about Health and Safety instructions and procedures and participate in organised training.- Must take care of optimal working conditions by using equipment in the correct manner and in accordance with instructions.
- Must alert noticed dangers to the managerial staff.? Adherence to Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption policy, HR Manual, Quality Management and Accounting procedures and align with corporate objective and any other compliance guideline documentation related to job specification.? Carry out, any tasks as deemed necessary by the Service Manager and respond positively to any other reasonable request pertaining to the job.
QUALIFICATIONS: Essential : ? A Degree or National Diploma in Process Control / Instrumentation ? Full PC, Microsoft package and e-mail literacy.Desirable : ? A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Process Control.? Member of professional institution.
EXPERIENCE: Essential : ? Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an industrial and technical environment.? Experience on DCS, PCI and MIS systems.? Experience and knowledge on IT systems.
? Knowledge and experience in the different industries Yokogawa deal with – Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Mining, Paper and Pulp etc.Desirable : ? Project Design and Configuration experience.? Experience on Yokogawa DCS and MIS systems.
? Experience and knowledge on IT systems.Highly negotiable depending on experience
