Job Functions Communications Industries Ngo / Non-Profit Specification Contribute to the development of M&E framework and sustainable M&E systems for the business unit Contribute to conducting situational analysis and baseline assessments. Collate and analyse programme data using qualitative and quantitative methods. Have an understanding of all programmes and projects undertaken by Aurum's Public Health Division and the respective deliverables required by funders.
Responsible for working with programme staff to ensure that M&E is well integrated at planning and implementation stages of the projects, and throughout the projects to ensure regular monitoring of programme impact. Work closely with programme staff to ensure that M&E tools, guidelines and SOPs are understood. Work closely with data management on accessing data and improving quality of data.
Assist Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to develop indicators, targets and indicator protocols Write and submit accurate feedback reports that present identified and flagged gaps, trends, challenges and achievements.Report data in line with programme and funder requirements Participate in program planning, implementation and review meetings. Liaise with external and internal customers.
Ensure effective and efficient use resources. Conduct site visits to do data audits. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures according to prescribed procedures and legislation Report all unsafe activities to Senior Management/Human Resources Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Adheres to all M&E SOP's, guidelines and confidential agreements Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Coordinate, collaborate and liaise with all Internal and external Customers towards the achievement of organizational goals. Liaise with Data Managers and Operations Managers when necessary to ensure the timeous delivery reports Attend M&E Stakeholder meetings to ensure continuous development and learning. Requirements Relevant Bachelor's Degree Knowledge M&E frameworks (logic framework, results based management) Valid Driver's Licence Post graduate qualification in Monitoring & Evaluation Work Experience A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in implementing M&E systems in health/medical research organisations.
Experience and skills in statistical analysis using STATA, Excel or other programmes Project management experience Must have own car and valid driver's license, and be willing to travel Job Closing Date 17/05/2018
