Cape Town, Western Cape - The Intern will report directly to the Regional Manager.This role is responsible to the regional team. The primary scope of the role is to: § Support client implementations § Build capability of client resources § Give proactive feedback on areas of Best Practice product improvement.

a) Client Deliverables Main activities include: § Deliver team leader training, assessments and coaching on foundation best practices. § Deliver TOT training, assessments and coaching of foundation best practices § Support shop floor staff in the application of the training delivered § Report on progress to the respective project managers. b) Internal Administration Main activities include: § Organise training material as per regional procedures and timelines § Organise travel requirements § Complete timesheets and expense docs on time and accurate § Complete site visit reports within 48 hours of leaving site § Complete internal admin timeously eg.

time sheets and invoices § Participate in regional training days § Participate positively and actively in monthly home day meeting with the regional team Suitable Qualification i.e.Engineering or Supply Chain § 1-3 years experience in an operational environment utilising World Class standards (prefereably in packaging or FMCG industries) Beneficial additions § Knowledge of the principleas of Adult Learning § Knowledge in some of the following areas: Facilitation, Change Management, Lean, Problem Solving, 5S, Teamwork, Visual Management § Exposure to world class manufacturing practices or TPM § Effective analytical and problem-solving skills § Project Management skills § High proficiency in Microsoft packages § Excellent people skills § Willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones and implementation deadline. § Willing to travel to domestic and cross-border locations in Africa § Outgoing, pleasant, confident disposition § Good organisational and administration skills Personal Attributes The incumbent must demonstrate the following personal attributes: § Present a professional image (conduct, attitude and attire) § Be open to self-development, particularly around EQ and the so called soft skills § Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity § Be energetic and flexible in approach § Demonstrate sound work ethics § Share your ideas and insights mindfully § Be proactive, pleasant and self assured Rneg.
