West Coast Personnel - Cape Town, Western Cape - TO START: beginning of June 2018 Pressure Vessel manufacturer seeks a contract Accountant JOB DESCRIPTON: Local creditors Processing invoices (mostly CODs) Investigate and allocate purchase price variances GRN purchase orders Check creditors recons Load new creditors on SYSPRO Bank and Petty cash Process local bank account (Standard bank) Do all local bank payments (Cod's, month end, Corporate loan, Salaries, Weekly wages, wages and salaries pay-overs) Bank verifications and load beneficiaries on the bank (new creditors and bank info changes) Manage the petty cash (petty cash claims and expense claims, arrange top-up with bank, month end recon) Local Debtors Monthly statements of all lab debtors Assisting with lab invoicing and do all lab credit notes Follow up on debtor's queries Month-End Posting standard month end journals Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Intercompany Reconcile intercompany loan accounts (monthly) Do related party notes (monthly) Other tasks Keep training file up to date Keep all legal fees invoices and consulting/professional fees invoices on file for auditors EMP201 schedule for FM Complete credit apps Foreign tasks (only when management accountant is not available) Load beneficiaries Load payments (local bank and foreign bank) Do drawdowns Min requirements Afrikaans speaking a plus Qualifications would be a minimum BComm in Accounting or similar Experience +/- 3 years Email your CV to anthonyjobs(at)wcp.co.za
