Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape - Reference: PE000488-SN-1 Our client, a leading IT company is looking for an experienced and competitive Account Manager/New Business Sales to join their dynamic team. Purpose of the job: Identifying and closing new business opportunities in the Workforcce Management, Access Control, CCTV/Surveillance Market Building and managing an individual pipeline of new business opportunities in a manner that will lead to the consistent achievement of monthly and annual sales targets Reporting required management information regarding individual pipelines in an accurate and timely manner Staying abreast of changes to offerings to the market as well as relevant developments in the industry Combining a solid understanding of the customer’s environments with in depth industry awareness to offer corporate customers best fit solutions. Working closely with the Pre-sales team to ensure that 80% of new business is closed.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to; Identifying a sufficient number of new business opportunities to build an individual pipeline that will lead to the achievement of monthly sales targets Planning an approach to these customers that addresses their business requirements Building a database of relevant information on these customers Getting appointments with a sufficient number of these customers on a weekly basis to build an individual pipeline that will lead to the achievement of monthly sales targets Qualifying the new business opportunities that result from these initial steps in the sales process Pursuing these genuine business opportunities Completing the sales process with the customers Understanding the business drivers around the customer’s needs Creating a differentiated value proposition that addresses these business drivers Confirming the value proposition with the customers Presenting the value proposition to the customers Closing the deal with the customers Turning these customers into accounts with whom we do repeat business Growing the revenue stream from these customers Building broader relationships in these customers Convince customers to become reference sites Key Requirements: 5+ years’ experience in a Business Development / Sales role with a proven track record. Business Development in / Sales experience in the Workforce Management/ Access Control/CCTV /Surveillance/ Capex/ Solutions industry. Professional Presentation Skills Professional Proposal Skills Demonstrate a high business Acumen Educational Requirements: Senior Certificate Formal Sales Training Tertiary Business Qualification *Willingness to travel within the Western Cape, occasionally outside the Western Cape or abroad.

*Willingness to work outside normal business hours.
